It has been over a year now that I have been back in the states.....I am writing this post today to all the wonderful friends I have found through blogging. I started in 2007, I think.....(help me remember suz:)
Stuff happened in my life and last march my blog that I had started back in 2007 was deleted, and sadly not by me. I almost didn't start up another blog......I lost my footing big time. But an incredible thing happened, my friend sperlygirl and other bloggers I had never met in real life sent me a package a couple months after I arrived in the states....it was filled with small gifts and notes of encouragement I can't explain how much strength this gave me. Yesterday I had a comment from my blog-girlfriend dina and it really touched me....and made me stop and think you need to write a thank you to all these wonderful people to let them know this.... "that you are so lucky to have found such a wonderful group they have always made your heart smile with their comments and their beautiful blogs where they share."
Since I started blogging again this last fall I felt too exposed to take my self portraits and put them on my blog....something that I used to do and something that I love and admire about other bloggers, it feels so fearless!!.......I am gaining back my footing, wearing my little brown boots and using them to kick fear's big butt........ I am not worried about this anymore, not afraid to share who I am.....
I am heading up to Portland tomorrow to meet up with these cool blogger friends.....life is good.........
