Feathers, I own them. When I returned to the states last March there were feathers in everyone's hair and on their earrings. I was head over heels for this look. I purchased some and wore a few for quite awhile. Then like a lot of fads this one seemed to slowly disappear.....and when fads leave it is hard to be that one that still keeps doing it you become the "oh look that lady still wears feathers doesn't she know that was so last year" I decided for my dress-up this week I would put on all my feathers at the same time. I hardly recognized myself in these photos I looked so much younger than I normally do:) (the photo effects(pic monkey)I am using I think have a lot to do with this:)
When we wear things that truly make us feel like our light is shining, I think it does make us brighter.
I have a second job now and it is scheduling appointments. When I reached a client's message machine the other day she said her name, "Please leave a message", and ended with "let your light shine".
I loved this.
