I went to faerieworlds with my two daughters, my mom and stepfather. I loved the magic and sheer excitement that filled the air. The costumes all with smiles attached. A wishing tree where you could attach your wishes to colorful fabric. The small table for little ones...how big their grins were as they sat together on little logs painted with mushroom tops. Watching my daughters play dress-up. My sweet Iris looking so Venetian with her eyes changing green along with her mask......and then there was my dear Jasmine, a true butterfly in every sense. We danced for over an hour to an Australian band. Next year we decided we will make better headdresses...I can't wait. so today I am sharing a lot of photos because I want to give you the feeling of the fair.
holding up a headdress I tried on so i could photograph it

dress-up time
up in the trees little surprises everywhere
the costumes were so creative
we loved all her feathers
a sweet shopkeeper displaying her wears(colored fake dreads, arm bracelets and little hats with ribbons)
music around each corner
jasmine put some wings on me...I loved how my children embraced all the fairy magic.
